Special Studies: Moisture
Moisturizing or hydration is one of the top claims in the skincare market. FSTI utilizes state-of-the-art technology, sophisticated procedures and expert knowledge to perform moisturization tests on a variety of products. Human subjects are selected for panel testing to evaluate a product’s ability to draw moisture into the epidermis. Extended moisture retention of 4, 8, 12, or even 24 hours gives the consumer full assurance of formula’s rich efficacy.
Special Studies: Non Migration
Migration testing measures how a formula moves away from the applied area of the skin. Why is this important? When applied to the face, a product often runs into the eyes creating irritation during water activities or active sports. This stinging effect is particularly detrimental to children. In addition, with sun protection formulas the migration will reduce its protection over time.
